Dear Houston
A long wedding dinner table set before guests arrive, golden hour, candles and string lightsGourmet Catering

Food worthy of the room.

A wedding asks for one thing. A private dinner asks for another. A boardroom asks for a third. We cook in our own kitchen, carry it to yours, and let the room set the terms.

— What we bring —

A kitchen that comes to you.

Every room has its own logic. The food that belongs at a gallery opening does not belong at a wedding, and neither one belongs in a boardroom at noon. We don't bring a catalog. We bring a kitchen that has spent years learning to read the room.

We cook it in our kitchen on Houston time. We load it cold so it arrives the way it left. We set it up fast, serve it with a team that knows when to disappear, and clean up so the room looks like we were never there.

Chef Pat in the kitchen, early morning
"Loaded cold, set up fast, cleared before you notice. That's the routine. The standard is simpler: I cook for your room the way I'd cook for my own family's table. If I wouldn't set it in front of them, it doesn't leave my kitchen."— Chef Pat

Weddings

A long day, held together

A wedding is not one meal. It's a rehearsal dinner, a reception, a late-night plate, and a brunch the next morning. We carry the whole arc, so the couple never has to think about whether the food is ready.

Private dinners

A beginning and an end

Ten people at one table, four courses, a beginning and an end. The food arrives plated, the wine keeps pace, and the conversation doesn't have to stop for the kitchen to catch up.

Social celebration

The table has room for everyone.

A birthday that runs long. A shower with the whole family. An anniversary dinner with nowhere else to be. We bring Chef Pat’s cooking to the gatherings that turn an ordinary room into your room, and shape the menu around the occasion.

Corporate events

The boardroom, noon

Lunch that doesn't slow the meeting down. Drop-off platters for a working session, staffed service for a client dinner. We arrive, set up quietly, and clear out before the next agenda item.

Holidays

The table you set at home

Your kitchen, your table, our food. We cook the sides and the main course so the holiday meal reads as yours — elevated, not outsourced. Carve it, plate it, take the credit. We already left.

— Our specialty —

Art-world events, our specialty.

Openings, private viewings, artist talks, fairs, and galas. Food that doesn't drip near the walls, stations that stay compact, and a team that knows when to step back. This is the room we've studied the longest.

Once the room is clear, the menu follows.

— The menu —

Three menus. Any room.

Pick a menu, then pick a service level. Any menu works with any service. This is the ticket we work from — the rest is your room.

Questions, answered

Our drop-off platters work well for intimate dinners and small gatherings. Staffed service has a minimum we'll confirm when we quote.

Yes. Many wedding venues and private homes don't have one. We prepare everything in our commercial kitchen and arrive ready to serve.

Yes. Tell us about allergies and preferences when you inquire, and we'll build them into the menu.

Ask us. Bar service depends on the venue and the event, and we'll tell you plainly what we can do.

Ask us. If we're not yet approved, we're glad to complete your venue's vendor paperwork.

Yes. We can carry the rehearsal dinner, reception, late-night plate, and next-morning brunch, so you never have to coordinate a second caterer.

For private dinners and corporate events, a few weeks is comfortable. For weddings and large events, the earlier the better.

Tell us about your room.

Every event here starts the way the rest of this house does: with a letter. Tell us the date, the headcount, and what the room is like. Chef Pat reads it at the pass.
